FG SHARES FUNDS AMONG KATSINA CITIZENS

Around 130,000 poor families in Katsina state have been paid N2.6billion under the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) program of the Federal Government.

Abdulkadir Nasir, Special Adviser on social intercessions to Gov. Aminu Masari, made the revelation at a news instruction in Katsina on Friday.

He clarified that the dispensing was a piece of the Federal Government's intercessions to pad the cruel impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the individuals.

Nasir said that 133,228 family units had so far been selected into the social intercession program in the state.

"As on Thursday, passing by the mandates of President Muhammadu Buhari that recompenses be paid for January, February, March, and April, amassing to N20,000 per family unit, these families have been paid completely over N2.6 billion.

"Up until now, of the 133,238 family units, 130,000 have effectively been paid,"

He said.

Nasir additionally said that the central government burned through N473 million month to month under the National Home Growth Feeding program in the state.

As indicated by him, 338,488 students in 1,407 grade schools are profiting by the program.

He said that 4,097 nourishment sellers were locked in and that N70 was spent per kid under the program.

The senator's associate additionally said that 13,478 volunteers in the state right now profit by the national government's N-Power program.

Nasir further said that 8,364 indigenes had profited by the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Program under the TraderMoni.
